Busted Myths about Shaving

There are many girls and women out there who still choose to wax their body or get laser treatment done who can afford that to over the shave. Just because of some myths that are going on for years and years.

But what about those girls and women who have super sensitive skin like I have? What about those who do not have much time to take appointments in salon and go there to wax once or twice a month? What about those who just can not bear the pain from waxing?

So, let me tell you girls, these are called MYTHS because these are MYTHS about shaving( hope you understood what I am trying to say :D ).

Let's get started with the MYTHS.

1. Shaving makes the skin itchy - This is absolutely untrue. Shaving the hair never makes the skin itch. It is just because yours skin is not moisturized as per the need of the skin.

2. Shaving makes hair growth faster Shaving does not makes the hair grows faster. Your hair will always grow according to your growth.

Actually, hair removal from shaving is done from outer layer of the skin. So, it does not pull hair from the roots whereas, waxing pull hair from roots. That is the only reason why people think that shaving grows hair faster.

3. Shaving makes hair rough and thickerThis thing is also untrue about shaving. After shaving the hair will grow as they are naturally and will not grow rough and thicker.
4. More pressure means a closer shaveThis is not the case. In fact, this is quite unsafe. The blades are designed and positioned to give you a close shave on the outer layer of the skin, applying pressure will only give you all unwanted cuts ( which no one wants).

5. Dry shaving is OKAY! - It's a complete No No..!! Never dry shave even if you are in hurry. This will only give you with irritated, dry and flaky skin. Which further turns into itchy skin and rashes.

So, these are some of the myths about shaving that most of the women trust, but it's not the case. I tried to burst as much as myths I know.
